ABOUT BALANCEDBODY MAT CLASSES
BALANCEDBODY¬ģ mat class combines stretching with strengthening and aims to improve cardiovascular stamina, body tone, flexibility, and posture. Hour and a half sessions consist of exercises from Yoga, Pilates, dance training, Martial Arts training, cardio-training and weight training. Combining exercises from these disciplines activates both large and small muscle groups working to tone and slim the body. Muscle fibers are lengthened AS they are strengthened, resulting in a sculpted, defined physique. Participants experience significant improvement in flexibility and range of motion as well as increased stability in the body’s joints. The first hour is focused on conditioning and strength training; the last half hour is dedicated to stretching and meditation. Exercises are devised to be suitable for anyone to accomplish.
